Hey there! Josh Wilson here. I’ve recently released a song called “How Loved You Are.” The song is about a season of depression I went through. During that time, I would say the most awful things to myself in the mirror. “I hate you, you’re worthless, you’re a burden.” This song imagines what Jesus might say if he stepped between me and the mirror.

I released a crowd-sourced video of the song a few weeks ago, and it’s gone viral. That single video has 3.5 Million views on Instagram, and other videos of the same song have received 7-8 Million views total.

Because of the way it’s connecting and encouraging people, I’m wanting to make more of these videos. I thought it would be really special to work with individual local stations and get their listeners to submit their own videos.

I love that these videos are made up of real people looking into a mirror and singing these words over themselves. They don’t have to be a great singer (I don’t even use their audio. I just use short video clips of each person’s video).

We’re launching our first radio collaboration with KCMS and KWPZ today (Sep 10th), and we’re taking submissions from their listeners for two weeks. Then I’ll make the new video and send it to them to post/share.
